Today we say goodbye to a beloved and immensely influential member of the rock community, Chris Cornell. We give the best farewell to Chris that we can in the Pit and then try to pick up the beat from there. We discuss our weeks and new music we have found and move into the song of the week, another great track from HURT, before moving into homework. Shane gives his thoughts on the new While She Sleeps album, “You Are We,” and then Zack dives into Seether's “Poison The Parish” after reading a listener review of the album.

We're back again, can't get rid of us. Sorry, not sorry. This week in the Pit the guys go over what they've been listening to, play a Song of the Week, and then jump right into their homework. Zack tells us how he really feels about the new Incubus album, and Shane gives a quick review of The Riven. Some exciting plans for the future of the show are discussed and a call is sent out to the listeners to give their input and suggestions, and apparently, Shane has been ignoring the fact that the show has a Twitter. Speaking of Twitter...
